Casale l’Antico Carro is now a family-run restaurant and bed & breakfast open year-round. Below you’ll find our rates, included services, and house rules to ensure all guests enjoy a pleasant and peaceful stay, free from the stresses of daily life.
Our room rates range from a minimum of €70 (double room for single use) to a maximum of €180 (Timone Suite with whirlpool tub) per day, depending on your chosen options. Rates are per room per night and always include breakfast, but do not include municipal tourist taxes.

Use of the outdoor pool with sun deck (available from June through September)
Electricity, water, and heating or air conditioning

Surcharges, Discounts, and Exemptions:
Extra bed: +25 € per day
Baby crib: +15 € one-time fee
Half-board supplement: +25 € or +35 € per person per day; full details available on-site
Discounts for Long Stays: Customized discounts are available for stays longer than 7 days
Pets: one-time fee of +15 € for extra cleaning
All individuals with disabilities or other eligible persons are exempt from paying municipal tourist taxes
Tourist tax: According to the regulations of the Municipality of Cortona, as of 2026, a tourist tax applies to non-residents for the first 4 nights, which currently ranges from 1 € to 2 € per person per day. Children up to and including 12 years of age, as well as all individuals with disabilities or other eligible groups, are exempt from payment.
To guarantee your reservation, we require a valid credit card number and expiration date. The balance or any cancellation fees may be paid and/or charged via bank transfer or credit card (*Visa, Mastercard, Maestro*—NO AMERICAN EXPRESS, NO PREPAID CARDS).
In the event of cancellation or modification of the reservation, the following penalties will apply based on the number of days’ notice given prior to the scheduled arrival date:
Within 30 days of the arrival date > No penalty (Free cancellation)
29 to 15 days before arrival > 50% of the total cost of the stay
14 days to the day of arrival (or no-show) > 100% of the total cost of the stay

Breakfast Hours: Served Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Rules of the Casale applicable throughout the property:
OUTSIDE GUESTS: For safety and public order reasons, unregistered guests are not permitted to stay overnight or use the pool
PETS: Small and medium-sized pets are welcome at our property for a one-time cleaning fee; bowls and a mat will be provided by the property in the room. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SLEEP IN OR CLIMB ON THE BEDS. IF BROUGHT INTO THE POOL AREA, THEY ARE FOR COMPANIONSHIP ONLY, AND THE OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CLEANLINESS AND CARE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH HYGIENE STANDARDS AND OUT OF RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS
POOL AREA: Eating food or bringing glass containers into the pool area is prohibited to ensure the safety of adults and, above all, children.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms, the restaurant, and all indoor common areas of the Casale, in compliance with applicable laws and for the health and safety of everyone present. Violators are subject to fines of up to €275.
